Zancott Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Civil Labourers to join major Defence and infrastructure projects across Adelaide. These opportunities offer ongoing work with reputable contractors delivering large-scale projects across South Australia.

To be successful, you will have:

  • To meet Defence clearance requirements, applicants must hold Australian Citizenship
  • Hold a current National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months) or be willing to obtain one
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport (desirable)
  • Previous experience working within civil construction, infrastructure or major infrastructure projects
  • Construction White Card
  • Ability to work safely and follow all site procedures and safety requirements
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude and reliable attendance

Duties may include:

  • Assisting with pipe laying and civil works
  • Trenching, backfilling and spotting around services
  • Setting levels and working around live services
  • Use of hand & power tools
  • General labouring and heavy lifting
  • Entering and exiting trenches safely
  • Loading/unloading equipment
  • Maintaining and cleaning the work site
