Civil Worker / Subcontractor – Minor Civils

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Civil Worker / Subcontractor to join our team working on Powercor underground network, across the Geelong region. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on civil construction experience who takes pride in safe, efficient, high-quality work.

Position type: Permanent, full-time hours
Location: Geelong region
Start date: Immediate start available

About the Role

·        Support day-to-day civil works

·        Assist with excavation, shovelling, and general labouring tasks for underground power works

·        Act as a mobile plant spotter

·        Complete required iPad-based documentation, including JSAs and daily work diaries.

What You’ll Need

·        Current ABN

·        Construction White Card

·        Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

·        Spotter & shovel experience

·        Strong communication skills and dependable

Preferred, but not required

·        Heavy Rigid Truck Licence.

·        Excavator ticket or relevant plant operating experience.

·        VESI training.

·        Experience using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery.

·        Previous experience in utilities, civil construction, or minor civils works.
