About the Role

The Construction Labourer supports the delivery of residential construction projects by performing a range of manual labouring tasks, assisting tradespeople, maintaining site cleanliness and ensuring materials, equipment and work areas are prepared and managed safely. Full-time position working at our sites across Brisbane, Monday to Friday.

This role contributes to the efficient, safe and timely completion of construction activities across all stages of the build process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople including carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers and concreters with daily construction activities.

• Load, unload, transport and stack building materials safely around site.

• Maintain clean, organised and hazard-free work areas.

• Remove rubbish, debris, excess materials and construction waste.

• Set up, relocate and pack down site equipment, fencing and safety barriers.

• Operate hand tools, power tools and basic construction equipment under supervision.

• Mix, move and place concrete, mortar and other construction materials.

• Undertake excavation, trenching and general manual labour as required.

• Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.

• Take direction from supervisors and work collaboratively with trades, subcontractors and other site personnel.
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous construction or labouring experience preferred but not essential.

• Construction Induction Card / White Card (mandatory).

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.

• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.

• Valid driver's licence is required for this position.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.

• Safety-focus and attention to detail.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
