Road Works Labourer | Heatherbrae Government Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity available for capable and experienced labourers for work with a road maintenance team based at Heatherbrae.

Applicants will need to have a good level of recent operating experience with both positrac/skid steer AND zero turn mowers.

Commencing ASAP, this role will involve working full time hours for a period of approximately 6 months with potential for further work, depending on satisfactory performance and operational needs. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered.

Applicants ideally should have previous experience with general road work or civil construction. Traffic control tickets/experience is required, and experience operating handheld tools is preferred.

Successful Applicants will need; 

• Current WHS White Card

• Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain prior to start of work (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)

• Unrestricted Australian driver licence - with MR licence or above an advantage but not essential

• Traffic control ticket - highly desirable

• good all round fitness for manual work tasks

• previous experience with road construction or maintenance, or civil construction will be highly regarded

Applicants will need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player.
