Duties & Responsibilities
Due to an upcoming retail fit-out project in Wollongong, we are currently seeking reliable Labourers to assist Carpenters and Shopfitters on site.
Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting Carpenters and Shopfitters with day-to-day site activities.
• Unloading rack components, displays and materials from deliveries.
• Moving materials safely around site.
• Assisting with the assembly and installation of retail display racks.
• General site clean-up and housekeeping.
• Removing rubbish and waste materials to designated trucks and disposal areas.
• Using basic hand tools as required.
• Following all site safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Working collaboratively with the project team to ensure project deadlines are met.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous labouring, construction, shopfitting or trade assistant experience preferred.
• White Card (essential).
• Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Own transport is desirable.
