Full time
Hours are 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday, with some weekend cover required during crushing season (June - December) paid as overtime. Enjoy a 9 day fortnight and no weekend work during the maintenance season (January - June).
We are looking for a general labourer to perform a variety of physical tasks as a member of the day gang team.
Responsibilities could include:
Performing production and operational site duties
Operating vehicles
Cleaning
Trades assistance
Use power tools
Maintain a clean work environment.
We are looking for:
Current Fork lift licence with relevant experience or willing to obtain
Mechanical Aptitude
Ability to communicate in a clear and constructive manner both verbally and in writing
Commitment and good attitude to safety and culture
Teamwork and willingness to co-operatively share knowledge
Proactive self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
Sufficient physical fitness, sight and hearing
Ability to work in an environment with frequent exposure to noisy, wet, greasy and/or humid conditions, as well as heights
Production experience an advantage but not essential
Desirable licences / tickets include:
Dogging / Rigging / Scaffolding
Confined Space (current within 2 years)
Non-Slewing Mobile Crane capacity >3T
Excavator
Front end / Wheeled / Skid Steer Loader Tickets
