Civil Labourer – BLC Queensland

BLC Queensland is seeking a reliable and motivated Civil Labourer to join our growing team across South East Queensland. Working across a diverse range of civil construction projects, including earthworks, drainage, concreting, and landscaping, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Assist civil construction teams with site preparation and general labouring duties
Support the installation of pipes, pits, kerbs, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure
Operate hand tools and small plant equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain clean, organised, and compliant work sites
Follow all Workplace Health and Safety requirements, SWMS, and site procedures
Work closely with supervisors, machine operators, and other team members to achieve project milestones
Assist with earthworks, concreting, landscaping, and finishing works as required
Previous experience using survey equipment, including GPS rovers, will be highly regarded

About You

Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction, landscaping, or a similar labouring role
Experience working on subdivisions, roadworks, drainage, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable
Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in outdoor environments
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work
Ability to follow instructions while also showing initiative when required
Current Construction Induction (White Card)
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport preferred
Full Australian working rights
