About the role

Vicwest Roofing is seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team in Ballarat, VIC. As a Labourer - Metal Roofing, you will be responsible for assisting our skilled tradesmen in the installation and maintenance of metal roofing systems. What you'll be doing

1. Providing labour support to qualified tradesmen during metal roofing installations

2. Assisting with the unloading, handling and positioning of roofing materials and equipment

3. Preparing work areas and cleaning up job sites

4. Undertaking basic maintenance and repairs to roofing systems as directed

5. Ensuring compliance with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a labouring or construction role, preferably within the building trades industry

2. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

3. Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks

4. Basic understanding of building materials and construction techniques

5. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

6. Willingness to learn and develop new skills

7. Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
