Our portfolio includes entrance and feature walls, fireplaces, retaining walls, pillars, restorations, renovations, monumental masonry, and bespoke new builds. We are proud to be involved in some of Australia’s most prestigious construction projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Qualified Stonemason to join our skilled and dedicated team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of craftsmanship and technical skill. You will be responsible for cutting, shaping, installing, and repairing natural and manufactured stone across a variety of construction and renovation projects, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Study and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation methods

  • Cut, shape, polish, and fit hard and soft stone using hand tools and machinery

  • Mix and apply mortar and adhesives to set stone accurately

  • Construct stone walls, blockwork, pillars, arches, feature walls, and retaining structures

  • Check vertical and horizontal alignment to ensure precision and structural integrity

  • Repair, restore, and maintain existing stone and masonry structures

  • Work independently or collaboratively within small teams, including providing on-site guidance where appropriate

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant worksite at all times

  • Accurately record daily progress and job details using company software systems

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Trade qualification in Stonemasonry (Certificate III or IV or equivalent) or significant relevant industry experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on stonemasonry experience in construction, renovation, or restoration environments

  • Strong knowledge of traditional and modern stonemasonry techniques

  • High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

  • Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
