PA Kitchens is a Brisbane-based benchtop specialist providing customised in-home measure and quote services, fabrication, and installation solutions across Brisbane and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Stonemason to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a stable and well-established business specialising in high-quality stone products and installations.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Certificate III in Stonemasonry or equivalent qualification (or higher)

  • At least one year of relevant stonemasonry experience

  • Experience working with granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone materials

  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of a visa permitting full-time work in Australia

About the Role

As a Stonemason, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, repair, and finishing of stone products for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Selecting and preparing granite, marble, quartz, and quartzite materials for fabrication and installation

  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, polishing, and finishing stone using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery

  • Fabricating and installing stone benchtops, splashbacks, vanities, stairs, wall cladding, and flooring

  • Performing mitre cutting, gluing, polishing, and restoration of stone surfaces

  • Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and digital layouts

  • Inspecting completed stonework to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards

  • Coordinating with site supervisors, builders, and installers to support project delivery

  • Maintaining tools, machinery, and work areas in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements
