Australian Timber Ceilings is a manufacturer of prefinished timber lining boards and pre-oiled hardwood cladding for residential and commercial building developments. We pride ourselves on our highly collaborative and team orientated environment and super upbeat/energised culture.
Role Description & Responsibilities:
The role’s day-to-day responsibilities involve general production and dispatch activities as well as hands-on involvement in ongoing machinery operation and maintenance.
Primary responsibilities include:
Coating and Sanding Machinery Operation – operation of UV coating machine, oiling machine and sander to maximise up time of all machinery and ensure on-time dispatch of orders, as directed by the Workshop Manager.
Quality Control – constantly reviewing production of each timber lining board coated to ensure the highest quality is being dispatched to our customers
Maintenance – assist with routine and non-routine maintenance of machines
Workplace Health & Safety – enforcement of safety procedures and general tidiness of working environment.

Required Experience:
Manufacturing/workshop environment experience desirable, however not necessary as training will be provided
Hands-on machine maintenance (i.e. doesn’t shy away from the tools) desirable, however not necessary
