We are one of the larger Jim's Mowing franchises servicing most areas of the NSW Central Coast Monday to Saturday
We are currently seeking a casual lawn & garden labourer to join our existing team
Currently 30+ hrs per week available with a view to a full-time, permanent role if proven able to meet work quality and productivity standards, and demonstrate capability, discipline and trustworthiness to work unsupervised.
Responsibilities:
Lawn mowing using commercial mowers
Trimming pathway and garden edges using whipper-snipper and brushcutter
Operating the leaf blower to clear pathways etc of leaf matter and grass cuttings
Slashing long grass/weeds with whipper-snipper and/or brushcutter
Garden maintenance
Removal of green waste, rubbish and debris
Loading and unloading of the box trailer and ute
Replenishing fuel levels in tools
Driving the work ute as required
Physical labour including manual handling in a variety of outdoor working conditions is an inherent requirement of this role.
Desirable:
Experience, ability and willingness to work in a customer service oriented business
Experience working to quality and productivity standards in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow a pre-determined work schedule and instructions
First Aid Certificate
Requirements:
Current NSW Driver's Licence and own vehicle (not negotiable) as there is no public transport to and from work base, and you will be required to drive the work ute to and from sites
Must be able to drive a manual vehicle
Must be available to work between the hours of 6am and 7pm Monday to Saturday, up to 10 hrs per day
Ability to meet the inherent requirements of the role
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Consent to a National Police Check including criminal history background check and reference checking with at least 2 recent referees post interview
