About the Role
Smith & Co is currently seeking skilled Concreters to assist Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 contractors and subcontractors across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Ipswich. These positions are offered on a casual basis with the potential to transition into full-time employment after a successful trial period.
In this role, you’ll be involved in a variety of civil concreting tasks including site preparation, assisting with concrete pours, boxing, and finishing work. Projects include kerbing, slabs, footpaths, and driveways across subdivision developments, roadworks, and TMR infrastructure works.

Job Details
- Pay: $40–$50 per hour + penalties + travel and meal allowances
- Shifts: Day shifts starting from 6:30am, working 8–12 hours per day
- Projects: Subdivisions, roadworks, TMR, land restoration
- Locations: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich
- Proven experience working as a Concreter or Formworker within civil construction
- Ability to carry out all stages of concrete finishing and placement
- Current White Card (RII tickets advantageous but not essential)
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks
- Reliable and punctual with availability Monday–Friday
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices
