We are looking for a garden labourer/grounds person to join our team on a casual basis - work can be anywhere from two day to five days per week with hours increasing over the summer months. You will assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance. This hands-on role will work across several of our client sites in western Sydney and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. If you have a passion for working with plants, and a desire to learn and grow in the horticultural industry, we want to hear from you.
You have a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field will be highly regarded.
This role can be physically demanding and you must have the ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods.
Your ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team will help you to be successful in this role.
You have a current drivers licence and have, or are willing to obtain, white card and Working with Children Check.
This role could suit a university student looking to work whilst studying, with the option to work more hours during school breaks. Or perhaps you are winding down and working towards retirement and want to work less hours during the winter months as you pursue other interests.
