Labourer | Earthmoving & Haulage
A Class Earthmoving – Midland (Swan Valley Area)
A Class Earthmoving is a leading provider of earthmoving and haulage services in Perth Metro area for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality civil solutions and maintaining a professional, disciplined workforce.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and physically fit Labourer to join our team. This is a role for a motivated individual who values a high standard of work and professional conduct.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide essential ground support to our operators and haulage team. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
Site Preparation: Assisting with site marking, clearing debris, and manual leveling.
Plant Support: Assisting operators with excavator attachments and spotting for machinery during precision works.
Haulage Support: Assisting with the loading/unloading of materials and ensuring loads are secure and sites are clear for truck access.
General Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining machinery, greasing equipment, and ensuring the depot and sites remain organised.
Service Utilities: Manual excavation around sensitive underground services and pipe laying assistance.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate a strong work ethic and meet the following criteria:
Licensing: A valid Manual Driver’s Licence is mandatory and Light Rigid LR licence is advantageous but not necessary
Transport: Must have a reliable vehicle to ensure punctual travel to our depot base and various site locations.
Professional Standards: We maintain a strictly drug and alcohol free workplace. Candidates must be prepared to undergo random testing and adhere to our safety policies.
Experience: Previous experience within the earthmoving, civil construction, or haulage industry is highly preferred.
Physical Fitness: The role is physically demanding and requires the ability to perform manual tasks in outdoor conditions.
