About the role

Top bench pty ltd' is seeking a talented and experienced Stone mason/ machine operator to join our dynamic team in Coolaroo, VIC. As a full-time position, you will play a crucial role in our Building Trades operations, using your expertise to shape and craft stone materials into beautiful, functional pieces.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate stone-cutting and polishing machinery with precision and efficiency

2. Carefully measure, mark, and cut stone according to specifications

3. Shape, grind, and finish stone surfaces to high-quality standards

4. Collaborate with the design team to bring their visions to life

5. Maintain and service equipment to ensure optimal performance

6. Adhere to all health and safety protocols to protect yourself and your colleagues

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Stone mason or similar role within the Building Trades industry

2. Proficient in operating stone-cutting and polishing machinery

3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision

4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

5. Commitment to upholding high-quality standards

6. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

7. Effective communication and teamwork skills
