About the role

Shield Plumbing is a well-established, mediums sized plumbing company based in Altona North. For over 30 years, we’ve delivered high-quality plumbing services across Melbourne, specialising in Government and Local Council contracts.

We’re proud of our reputation for reliability, safety and quality workmanship and now we’re looking for motivated Plumbing labourers to join our growing team.

What you'll be doing

Assisting plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
Transporting equipment and materials to job sites
Digging and preparing trenches for pipe installation
Providing general labouring support to plumbers as required
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

Ability to work autonomously.
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willing to take on and own non plumbing tasks and jobs
Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile apps for site reporting.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Previous experience as a Plumbing Labourer or in a similar construction/trades role
Willing to undergo Police Check and Working with Children Checks
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
