$42.43 per hour + Super (PAYG)
Immediate Start | 3-Month Contract | Potential Extension
Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 4:00pm
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Civil Labourers for an immediate start on a civil infrastructure project based in Port Macquarie. This role offers consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to work with an experienced crew on active road and civil works.
If you have previous labouring experience and enjoy working in a hands-on outdoor environment, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with a strong hourly rate.
About the Role As a Civil Labourer, you will support civil construction activities by performing a variety of physical tasks and assisting skilled tradespeople, machinery operators and road crews. The role requires a strong safety focus and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general civil labouring duties on road and infrastructure projects
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Assist tradespeople, plant operators and drivers on site
  • Support roadwork activities including traffic and ground works
  • Follow site safety procedures and instructions from supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Licences & Tickets Required
  • Construction White Card
  • Workers on Foot ticket
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • MR Licence required (HR licence highly preferred)
Skills & Experience
  • Previous civil or construction labouring experience
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work
  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
