MJS Brick and Blocklaying is looking for an experienced Bricklayer and Bricky’s Labourer who takes pride in their work and can work efficiently within a small, professional crew.This role suits someone reliable who wants consistent work and good pay with a team that values quality workmanship.

We specialise in residential brick work, mainly low-set houses, with most of our work located across Brisbane Southside, Western Suburbs and Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities

Bricklayer

• Laying bricks to a high standard on residential builds

• Maintaining clean and safe work areas

• Working efficiently with labourers and other trades on site

• Ensuring work meets quality and safety standards

Bricky’s Labourer

• Mixing mortar and maintaining mortar supply

• Supplying bricks and keeping the bricklayers moving

• Setting up and maintaining site equipment

• General site preparation and clean-up

• Assisting with scaffolding and materials where required

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years experience in bricklaying or as a bricky’s labourer

• White Card (required)

• Driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Able to work well in a small crew environment

• Physically fit and able to work on residential construction sites

• Reliable, punctual and hard-working

• Good attitude and takes pride in the job
