Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced stonemasons in the cutting, shaping, and laying of stone benchtops.

  • Learn to use and maintain stonemasonry tools and equipment.

  • Assist in the installation of stone on site.

  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

  • Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required.

  • Fabricate and install benchtops for residential and lite commercial projects.

  • Measure, glue, and manufacture custom stone products to client specifications.

  • Perform tasks across all aspects of the production process.

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for stonework and high attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Self-driven.
