Civil Labourer + Asebestos Ticket

SAG Workforce is currently seeking experienced Civil Labourers with an Asbestos Licence to join our workforce supporting major civil and infrastructure projects across South East Queensland.

This role will suit reliable workers who have strong civil construction experience and are confident working in environments where asbestos-containing materials may be encountered during excavation, demolition, remediation, or upgrade works.

About the Role As a Civil Labourer, you will work alongside site supervisors, operators, and trades assisting with a range of civil construction activities. Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must hold a current asbestos removal ticket to assist with safe handling and remediation works where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with general civil construction labouring duties
• Excavation support, trenching, and site preparation
• Assisting operators with services installation, drainage, and concrete works
• Identification, handling and safe removal of asbestos-containing materials
• Setting up containment areas and following asbestos safety procedures
• Maintaining site safety and environmental compliance
• Manual handling, clean-up, and general support to site crews
• Working closely with supervisors to maintain project timelines

Requirements

• Current Asbestos Removal Ticket (Class A or Class B) – Essential
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Previous experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects
• Ability to follow strict safety and environmental procedures
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Reliable transport and ability to travel to project sites
• Strong work ethic and ability to work within a team environment
