Banana Shire Council currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Labourer to join our Drainage Construction Team in Taroom.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will perform duties as a Labourer to support the construction and maintenance of Council’s road network. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure services to the community.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• QLD Class 'C' Driver’s Licence

• QLD Construction White Card or Blue Card

Desirable:

• Traffic management qualifications:

  • Implement Traffic Management Plans (ITMP)

  • Traffic Controller Competence

• Experience operating heavy vehicles or plant and equipment in civil construction/maintenance
