Construction Labourer

About Us

Our Company specialises in shed construction of poultry and agricultural sheds.  We look to hire workers who are energetic, reliable, hardworking, with a great ‘can do’ attitude.  Our team is made up of workers with construction labour experience, who have the ability to construct large sheds, work safely and follow safety instruction from Managers, and Supervisors, who believe in quality of work and meeting timeframes and schedules.    

About you

• You will ideally have a construction labouring background, with experience of using hand and power tools, shed construction or working with steel frames or similar would be an advantage.

• Ability to work with both quality and safety in mind at all times and have the ability to work under instruction within in a team environment.

• Any background of carpentry, concreting, roofing, or welding would be an advantage to our projects.

• Any machine experience/ tickets working with telehandlers, skid steer, JCB's etc. within a construction environment would be an advantage.

• Any additional skills such as Dogger, EWP, Working at Heights, or a holder of other tickets and licenses, would be an advantage.

Experience and Requirements:

• White Card (Essential)

• a current Car Licence (C class minimum) and own transport (Essential)

• Must be fit and reliable (Essential)

• Use of hand and power tools (An advantage)

• Quality & safety focused (Essential)

• A team player and responsible worker (Essential)

• Working from Heights/ EWP (An advantage)

• Competent in the use of various machine operation. Licenses or tickets to operate any of the following: telehandler/skid-steer/dogger/rigger, scissor lifts, use of bobcats etc. (An Advantage)

• Able to provide your own PPE…Hi Vis yellow shirt, trousers, safety boots, etc. (Essential)

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required (Essential)
