Metal Fabrication Trade Assistant Labourer

Pro Services provides a range of engineering, manufacturing, Fabrication and maintenance to food processors and the manufacturing industry across Australia. 

To support the growth of our business we are currently offering an opportunity for the following roles to come and join our friendly team. 

• Metal Fabrication Trade Assistant / Labourer

Your New Role as a Metal Fabrication Trade Assistant / Labourer:

• Assist tradespeople with metal fabrication.

• Ability to use various machinery including but not limited to, Forklifts, bandsaws, welders.

• Basic use of Hand tools and electric tools to assist in the manufacture and installation of equipment.

• Unloading of any deliveries and handling of stock as required.

• MIG welding of mild steel items. 

• Cutting and Assembling of mild steel items.

• Assisting with other production requirements as necessary.

What you will need to succeed:

• Have minimum of 1 years prior experience in a trade assistant or labouring position.

• Be a pro-active, hands-on person with the ability to prioritise effectively, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

• Previous experience and or licenses in the use of forklift.

• Previous experience in MIG welding would be advantageous.

• Enjoy working in a busy team.

• Hourly rate negotiable based on experience.
