Civil Labourers, Road Project - $37 per hour

Workfast are looking for experienced Civil Labourers helping the Structures team to work on a Singleton Roads project.

The Singleton Roads Project is contract work with full-time hours with Civil and General Labouring, working around machinery, and General Labouring, Trade Assistant and Skilled Labouring work. Construction Labourers must have a valid White Card and Civil Construction experience and Machine experience desirable.  

The Civil Construction Labourers, Trade Assistant and Skilled Labourers will be working on a Singleton Roads Project, with weekend work also available. Night shifts may become available at a later date. There are no paid breaks and unpaid Pre Start. Requirements:

• Civil Construction industry experience

• White Card

• Own, reliable transport

• A willingness to 'pitch in' and assist with on-site labouring tasks. 

• An ability to work independently and at times guide others 

• Good communication skills

• An attention to detail

• A mature approach to the workplace, an ability to complete tasks and adapt to change within a fast paced environment

• A focus on Zero Harm and following safe systems of work

• Have a strong understanding of Bridge piling spec and willing to learn other relevant information

• Completion of daily paperwork

• Pipe laying

• Concreting

• Spotting machines for those with spotting experience
