Established and respected stone fabricator in Wetherill Park, our staff take pride in delivering high-quality stonemasonry services in commercial and private projects delivered across metro Sydney. At Feature Stone, we supply, fabricate, and install benchtops using a variety of stone. Each job is different and unique. Our client base has increased and we are looking for a keen, experienced and passionate full-time Stonemason full-time to join our dedicated team.

Job description

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Fabrication of stone benchtops

• Cut, glue, polish and shape marble, granite and engineered stone using power tools and cutting equipment

• Edge polishing using edge polishing machine and/or by hand

• Operating cranes and/or hoists to lift heavy material

• Packing & dispatch of finished products

• Experience with onsite installation stone bench tops

• General cleaning and maintenance of the factory and your workspace as directed by your supervisor

A successful applicant MUST:

• Have 3 years minimum experience in commercial stonemasonry and hold a NSW White card

• Be able to read technical construction drawings/blue prints

• Know how to determine the equipment and material needed for the project

• Knowledge in operating construction tools and equipment

• Be reliable with an excellent work ethic and a CAN-DO attitude

• Willing to learn

• Excellent attention to detail and care of workmanship in any given task

• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Have a current driver’s license and reliable transport

• Speak and read English
