Washman / Manufacturing Labourer - $53 p/hr + OT - Rosehill

Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced Washman / Manufacturing Labourer for immediate starts in Rosehill. 4 on 4 off shift pattern paying $53 p/hr with all over time paid at double time pay rates!

The Client:
A National brand specialising in the cement and timber building industries, located in Rosehill.

• Rosehill location (next to Parramatta)
• Free onsite parking
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• 6:30am to 6:30pm for two days then;
• 6:30pm to 6:30am for two days, then 4 days off
• $53 p/hr + Super
• All overtime paid at double time rates
• Temp to perm after 3 months for proven performers

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
This role will see you working in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will wear full Overalls PPE and be involved in cleaning of industrial machinery. Hence this is a loud, dirty and dusty environment to work in.   

• Washing and maintaining components of production machinery via high pressure hosing
• Maintaining housekeeping to Company standards
• Operating Production Machinery – both conveyer belt and control room operating
• Monitoring the flow of clay and other raw materials and products into machines, and adjusting valves and controls to specifications
• Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines
• Collecting quality lab samples and handing to the Quality lab
• Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained
• Ensure all work is undertaken in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule
• Sweeping, shovelling and removing excess products from the production line floors
• Ensure reasons for deviations from the schedule are communicated with TL
• Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained
• Data entry into Machine computer systems

Essential Requirements

• Ability to work a 7-day rotating shift roster (must be available to work weekends
• Previous experience in an industrial Manufacturing environment as both Machine operator and labourer
• Production machinery and Conveyor belt experience
• Previous experience using High Pressure hoses
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation
• Quality assurance experience
• Must be prepared to complete physically demanding work
• Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace
• Forklift license is advantageous
