Fixed Machine Operator Labourer

CLAW Environmental is a plastic recycling company located in Welshpool, Perth. The factory receives scrap plastics from business and industry which is processed by large machines that shred, wash and extrude into pellets for sale into a range of manufacturing markets.

We run Monday to Friday in 2 shifts, 6am-2pm and 2pm-midnght making a weekly shift of 38 hours on a rotating roster. On the job training is provided for all machines.

Responsibilities will include

• Inspection of incoming plastic material

• Processing of materials and keeping the machines full

• Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

• Following OHS&E requirements of the company

We are looking for an operator/labourer who have:

• own transport, reliable & able to work rotating 3 weeks day shift then 3 weeks afternoon shift

• operate with minimal supervision

• a commitment to health and safety practices

• an understanding of personal protective equipment and correct use

• ability to work both in a team and as an individual

• attention to detail

• enthusiastic and hardworking

• current forklift ticket

• Australian work rights - this is a permanent full time position
