COLD STORE LABOURERS

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Cold Store Labourers to join our Load Out Department. This role is responsible for preparing, handling, and loading export pallets and containers in a fast-paced cold storage environment.

Working within a team, you will help ensure export orders are accurately prepared and loaded to meet strict quality, safety, and export standards.

What is the opportunity?

This is an excellent opportunity for both new to industry and experienced cold store workers, with a range of training opportunities available! As a leading exporter in the red meat industry, you'll gain experience in state-of-the-art facilities supplying to markets all around the globe. Duties may include:

• Stacking, wrapping, securing and loading cartons onto pallets and into containers/trucks;

• Scanning cartons and pallets for accuracy, traceability and shipment verification;

• Temperature checking goods in strict alignment with food safety protocols;

• Completing transport/export documentation accurately; and

• Operating forklifts and palette jacks safely in a fast-paced environment.

What experience are we looking for?

While no experience is required, the following abilities is required to be successful in a Load Out position:

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling (25kg+)

• Comfortable working in cold storage/freezer environments

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to follow safety, hygiene and working procedures
