Production Labourers – $44 phr + Super (Day shift) Parramatta

Fuse Recruitment are currently sourcing for an experienced Manufacturing Production Workers to work in the Production and finishing departments for a National Leader in their field specialising in building products.
Located in Rosehill with onsite parking available.

• Temp to Perm after 3 months!
• $44 p/hr + Super
   

Duties:

In this role you will work as a Production Labourer and  General Hand All rounder in a team environment.
Duties will based in the production and finishing departments for our client. These are labour intensive roles where you will be sorting through sheets of timber, counting stock, palletising stock and checking for quality and defects.
You will be picking of stock and preparing orders for shipping. You will also be working with oversized products up to 6 metres long.

Duties will also include:
 

• Loading and unloading goods to and from production line conveyer belts
• Manually stacking  oversized sheets of timber and products onto pallets
• Loading Oversized pallets up to 6 meters long onto pallets
• Counting of stock
• Checking stock for Defects
• Quality assurance checks
• Wrapping and strapping pallets
• Pallet Jack Duties
• Matching Paperwork to orders

This is a loud, dusty and at times dirty environment to work in.

The Candidates:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have:

• Experience working with oversized pallets and working with ugly freight
• Production Conveyor belt work experience
• Pick packing, palletising stock experience
• The ability to identify defects in stock
• Quality check / Quality assurance experience
• Experience working in a repetitive manual handling role
• The ability to lift products up to 20kgs
• Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)
• Experience working with oversized stock such as timber and wood products
• Wrapping and strapping experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
• An ability to commit to the role in an ongoing capacity
