Day Shift Labourers

GB Galvanizing is a renowned family owned Galvanizing company who has been in operation for over 40 years. We have plants in both Dandenong and Bayswater.

We are currently looking to increase our staffing levels at our Dandenong and Bayswater Plants and need quality, skilled and reliable employees to join our successful team. We have many positions on the day shift for Laborer's.

Please note that although you will be initially employed as a casual, you will be working full time hours. There may be an opportunity to transfer to a permanent employee after a probation period and pending current workloads. Other opportunities in the future may include Forklift & Crane operation.

You will be responsible for;

• Heavy lifting

• Cleaning the steel with hand tools

• Sweeping the floor

• Stacking steel products

Your hours of employment will be:

Day shift Monday - Thursday 6.30am-3pm. Friday 6.30am - 1pm.

Some overtime may be available during the week and Saturday mornings at overtime rates.

To be successful for these positions you will possess:

• Previous experience working with steel is an advantage

• The ability to work in a heavy industrial environment

• A good attitude is a must.

• The ability to work in a multicultural environment.
