Front end loader/labourer

Our client, a leading waste management and recycling business, is seeking an experienced Front End Loader Operator / Yard Hand to join their team.

This is a hands-on position that combines machine operation with general yard duties to support the day-to-day running of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating front end loaders safely and efficiently

• Loading, sorting and moving waste and recyclable materials

• Completing daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard

• Assisting with general labouring and yard duties as required

• Working closely with the operations team to ensure site productivity

About You:

• Previous experience operating front end loaders is essential

• Background in waste, recycling, quarry, construction or a similar industry highly regarded

• Strong commitment to safety and site procedures

• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Willing to jump out of the machine and assist with manual tasks when required

• Ability to work well both independently and within a team
