About the Roles

We are looking for team members across all levels who are committed to safety, quality and delivering successful civil construction projects. If you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, lead by example, work hard and be rewarded for your efforts, then one of these roles could be yours!


Site Supervisors & Leading Hands

The successful applicants will be responsible for but not limited to the following: (Leading hands will assist the Site Supervisors in the below)

  • Ensuring project construction activities are carried out in a safe manner

  • Ensure the construction activities are carried out to meet the quality requirements of the project.

  • Completing Site records, including daily startups, Traffic management records, end of day checklist, Risk assessments, sign in sheets, Toolbox talks etc

  • Consulting relevant employees/subcontractors in developing new processes when OH&S requirements and controls change

  • Assisting in ordering of materials required for the construction project

  • Liaise with members of the public and stakeholders

  • Assist Project Manager in ensuring the project is carried out on budget and in a timely manner

  • Relay to Project Manager accurately any variations or site instructions requested or carried out for the construction project

  • Assist the Business Systems Manager in all safety/environmental incident investigations for the construction site, processing of NCR/CAR Reports and generation of JSEA reports as required.

  • Act as the site safety officer when required, who is responsible for the following:

  1. First aid treatment on site for employees, subcontractors and public if required

  2. Attending & running if necessary, toolbox meetings, particularly the reinforcement of safety issues on site

  3. Identifying safety issues requiring attention and reporting to the Business Systems Manager

  4. Maintain the cleanliness of the general amenities & litter management


About you

 To be successful in this role you must have the following:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is essential

  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering projects on time to schedule

  • Operator experience will be looked upon favourably

  • Someone who is hard working, reliable, motivated and shows a strong sense of initiative

  • A can-do attitude

  • Strong commitment to safety

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Be fit and healthy and prepared for physical manual labour work

  • Be able to lead/manage small teams

  • Be able to work within a team in a hands-on capacity

  • Current driver's licence essential

  • Must have Australian work rights for this position

  • Construction White Card certification is required


Civil Labourers

The successful applicants will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • General civil labouring and site preparation

  • Spotting for machinery and plant operators

  • Operating small plant and equipment

  • Manual handling of construction materials

  • Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

  • Following safety procedures and reporting hazards

  • Providing support to supervisors, operators and project teams as required


About you

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Commitment to workplace safety

  • Ability to undertake physically demanding work

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

  • Valid White Card

  • Current Driver's Licence

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, prior to commencement and will also be required to hold clearances such as National Police and DHS clearances.
