About the role:

Carry out advanced concreting duties along with a variety of general labouring tasks across construction and maintenance projects as directed.
Work on a diverse range of civil works, including roads, bridges, stormwater drainage, footpaths, kerb and guttering, water and sewer pipelines, and other key public infrastructure.
Apply technical knowledge and practical skill to identify and use the correct materials and specifications in line with Australian Standards and relevant regulations.
Operate in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner across all Council worksites.
Actively participate in team meetings to support a collaborative, safe, and productive work environment.

We are seeking:

Strong numeracy and literacy skills consistent with Year 10 level.
Proven ability to apply practical skills across a range of construction and maintenance activities.
Ability to work effectively both unsupervised and as part of a team or gang.
Ability to read plans and accurately take off quantities.
Current Class C (Car) Driver Licence.
General Construction Induction (White Card).
