Civil Labourer / Plant Operator (Telecommunications) — Bundaberg / SEQ
Full-time + overtime | 9-day fortnight (RDO Friday every 2nd week)

Accelerate Communications is growing and we’re looking for an experienced civil labourer / operator to join our Bundaberg crew delivering telecommunications civil works across SEQ (Horizontal directional drilling (HDD), pit & pipe, trenching, reinstatement, cable installs).

What you’ll be doing

  • Trenching, conduit/cable installs, pit installs, minor concreting & reinstatement

  • Operating plant (excavator and relevant equipment)

  • Working safely around underground services (spotting + hand digging when needed)

  • Reading plans, basic set-out, and providing mark-ups / as-built notes

  • General civil labouring as part of a crew (this is a working role, not just “seat time”)

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 3+ years civil experience (telecommunications preferred)

  • Confident excavator operator with solid civil fundamentals

  • Able to identify/locate underground services and work carefully around them

  • Reliable, safety-focused, and works well in a team environment

Must have

  • Construction White Card

  • Driver’s licence + reliable transport

  • Full working rights in Australia

Highly regarded

  • Excavator VOC / relevant plant tickets

  • Cable locating experience/tickets

  • First Aid/CPR

  • MR licence or higher
